Japan is filled with old traditions and amazing performances. At a small lumberyard in Koutou Ward Tokyo, there is a particularly interesting performance that's worth seeing. Log-walking! Watch these amazing acrobats balance on logs that are floating on top of the water.
You can catch this amazing performance at the Koutou-ku Festival every October! This performance came about from the Edo Period raft makers using hooks to freely move giant logs around in the river. The raft makers came up with all types of various tricks and special acrobatic skills. If you have the chance to visit Japan, definitely worth checking out this amazing performance.
