Published on 04.28.2016 The Hamachou Park is a perfect mixture of nature and manmade achievements the complement each other. The beauty of nature existing in harmony with some of the creations of men, working together to create wonderfully peaceful and serene atmosphere. The small, mist creating nozzles really added to the environment of the park, creating a sort of exciting yet mystical aura. No immediate purpose or utility of those mist nozzles comes to mind but maybe they are there simply for aesthetic reasons. The soft mist adds a nice touch to the streambed to be sure. Furthermore, seeing so many Sakura trees in one area and knowing how beautiful they look once they bloom is exciting nonetheless, even if they are bare. Sakura trees are what attracts most visitors to these parks but alas bloom only for a small amount of time. Regardless, the area itself is suited for walks, picnics or general get-togethers. Kids could enjoy playing sports there or kicking a ball around while adults could make use of the fresh air to unwind during their breaks from work. As the video shows, the area is perfect for family barbeques as well. The Sumidagawa river is surprisingly big and its water fairly rapid, contrasting sharply with the highway running right above it! One would assume that bigger fences would be used so that people do not fall in but it must not be such a big source of concern if the government decided the current fences are adequate.
